Ken Gates, M.A. is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor providing individual, marriage and family counseling. He received his Master’s Degree from Wheaton College Graduate School and has been in practice since 1991. Ken’s interactive approach to counseling combines compassion and encouragement with a challenge towards growth and change. His Specialties include: Mood Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, Childhood Disorders, Marriage Counseling, Healing from Infidelity and Spiritual Formation Issues.

Debbie Simpson, LCPC is a graduate of Trinity International University with a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology. A variety of life experiences contributed to her decision to pursue a career in counseling. Her roles have included daughter, sister, wife, stay-at-home mom, working mother, divorcee, single parent, blended family member, and returning student. She believes she has grown in understanding and compassion as a result of each of these roles and is looking forward to working through life’s difficulties with you. As a professional counselor, it is her privilege to be invited to hear your story and to participate in your continuing emotional, intellectual and spiritual growth. Her goal is to encourage, inform and challenge you in a safe, non-judgmental setting. Together you will develop strategies to manage your concerns and create a more satisfying life. Debbie has experience with clients of all ages with a variety of issues ranging from a general desire for personal growth, to mood and anxiety management, family and relationship problems, and addictions. She truly enjoys her work and looks forward to working with each client.

June Stroner, MA, LCPC, RPT is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and a Registered Play Therapist. June received her BS in Child Development and Family Relations from Illinois State University and later received her Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from Wheaton College, Illinois. Her advanced training and experience as a Registered Play Therapist has ignited her natural passion for helping children and families navigate through the difficulties in their lives. June has helped children and parents who are challenged with issues related to behavior management, developmental delays, parenting, anxiety, depression, parent/child attachment, trauma, and grief. This passion for equipping and teaching her clients to become healthy and thrive is lived out through June’s warm, caring presence as she easily establishes rapport with children and their families.

Charlotte Parcels, M.S.W., LCSW received her training from Jane Addams School of Social Work.  She has a passion to help others heal, grow and create change in their personal, relational, and spiritual lives.  She provides individual and family therapy and life coaching.  She specializes in women’s issues, rape and sexual abuse recovery, grief and loss, self-injury, eating disorders, sexual dysfunction,  and family issues.  She facilitates seminars on topics such as:  time management, strategic parenting, mindfulness techniques, and rediscovering creativity.  In addition to doing therapy, she maintains a home-based business as a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator, is a certified facilitator for SPAsisters , and she coordinates an annual silent spiritual retreat for women.

Bozic

Joe Bozic, MS, MDiv, LMFT, is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who provides therapy for couples, families and individuals. Joe is a graduate of Northern Illinois University and Trinity International University. Joe brings to this work a real love and empathy for people, and a belief in the healing power of finding peoples’ strengths and of seeing the humor in everyday life, while working through difficult problems. Joe works with clients dealing with issues such as marital struggles, family problems, conflict in relationships, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, trauma-related disorders, dissociative disorders, addiction and personal development.  Joe has completed an Externship and Core Skills Advanced Training in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy and is a member of the International Centre for Excellence in Emotionally Focused Therapy and the Chicago Center for Emotionally Focused Therapy, and is also a
member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy.

 

Elizabeth Long

 

Elizabeth Long, M.A., LCPC comes alongside those pursuing relational, emotional, and spiritual health. She received her Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from Wheaton College. As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, Elizabeth enjoys partnering with individuals and couples as they journey towards growth, wholeness, and fulfillment. She brings comprehensive experience to the counseling relationship, and has a passion for supporting men and women in leadership. Her areas of expertise include: grief and loss, recovery from past wounds, navigating life transitions, women’s issues, depression, anxiety, Enneagram Work, soul care, forgiveness, and reconciliation. Elizabeth speaks on those topics and others at a variety of workshops and retreats.
